PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND

Insights from the present development within the environment and recent happenings around the globe has shown the importance of technology cannot be over-emphasized, its application cuts across every sphere of our modern existence and with the advent of mobile technology; its reach is limitless. At this point, Nigeria and Nigerians need to step-up and take advantage of this august moment by setting up an unconventional education mechanism to prepare its future political and economic leaders. It is not new that our educational system has literally collapsed; a country where over one million students write an exam for university admissions that can only accommodate about one hundred and fifty thousand students. Based on this painful fact we decided to use the spread of technology as a springboard to stimulate our national growth and development like the Asian tigers and India.

In view of these, our organization with some outsourced partners have developed a better medium of interactive learning and empowerment program tagged “MULTIMEDIA EDUCATION”; It is a skill acquisition program that focus on multimedia training for all senior secondary schools in Nigeria which will empower them to be economically viable and enable them to compete globally. It is all inclusive, educative, informative and entertaining yet cost effective. In a country like ours, multimedia Education has the capacity to broaden the potentials of creative minds and it will enhance the application of related technology resources among students.

It is an alternative to conventional academic curriculum in most of our under-funded and over-crowded universities and a prompt solution to reduce mass illiteracy at an early age among the youths.

MULTIMEDIAis the combination of all media elements (Audio, Video, Internet)using technology to enhance its broadcast.

Let's nurture a child's creativity through Multimedia Education. It has d potential to spark another wave of technological advancement in digital production & content development in Africa; which will empower a new set of middle class.
